In support of 2024 World Environment Day, and the theme “Our Land, Our Future. We are #GenerationRestoration,” our operations conducted a range of environmental stewardship and waste minimisation initiatives.

Our Red Lake Operations held a Community Clean Up to encourage responsible waste management, resulting in more than 330kg (740 pounds) of garbage being collected from the local area. Team members demonstrated their passion for environmental stewardship, with great pride in keeping our community clean and beautiful.

In Australia, our Cowal Gold Operations donated 150 native plants to local schools, promoting environmental education and sustainability by involving students in hands on activities related to nature and conservation. Some of the educators noted the supply of native plants will help enhance green spaces within school grounds and foster a deeper connection between students and their local environment.

Overall, these initiatives support ongoing environmental beautification initiatives, keeps our communities and environment clean and sets a great example within the community.
