Whilst International Women’s Day (IWD) is only once a year, Evolution holds true that creating equity should happen every day of the year. Our Sydney office, and sites across the globe all hosted celebrations on IWD to help raise awareness of gender equity and celebrated the achievements of women and men who support them.

Our Cowal team extended support to our local communities by supporting creation of essentials toiletries bags that were donated to Share the Dignity – an Australian women’s charity. Ten employees also attended a AusIMM event in Sydney to celebrate IWD.

Ernest Henry team members Emily Bell, Lindsey Killer and James Say attended the AusIMM International Women’s Day event in Brisbane. The sold-out 400-person event, saw renowned speaker Justine Flynn, co-founder and director of Thankyou, who empowered, informed and inspired our team.

Our Red Lake reps participated in the New Starts for Women’s Annual Luncheon. Twenty remarkable women shared in the community celebration which included awards and recognition of Evolution’s Lorrie Rolland, Gwyneth Carlson, Kailie Horne, and Tara Thurbide who were all nominees for local Women of Merit awards.

The Sydney office participated in a learning session and celebrated with an afternoon tea.
