At Evolution, we aspire for our people to return home safer and healthier than when they first arrived. To celebrate Men’s Health Week in June 2024, our Mungari Operations hosted six junior doctors who gave presentations to our underground operators on key topics relating to men’s health, including mental health and wellbeing.

Pre-starts were followed by five-minute clinic-style health checks, where team members were able to speak to the doctors about any personal health concerns. Our partnership with the Junior Doctor Society has developed throughout the year and, with industry support, the Society aims to promote the Goldfields as a desirable career destination. Our Mungari team was proud to see such great engagement and participation in this great service.

We continue to support our people with mandatory health reviews and monitoring of our management team, and additionally provide active wellbeing support through the provision of physiotherapists in the Group office in Sydney.
