Northparkes engages Peak Hill Local Aboriginal Land Council to deliver local services

In December 2023 we acquired our Northparkes Operations, bringing with them a deeply rooted and strong history of positive First Nations engagement and development opportunities.

In February, Northparkes held their first Wiradjuri Executive Meeting for 2024, with representatives from Peak Hill Local Aboriginal Land Council and Wiradjuri Council of Elders. The engagement demonstrated strong communication and reflected the trusted relationship well aligned to our Evolution values of safety, excellence, accountability and respect. As part of this strong partnership, our Northparkes Operations finalised its first employment contract with Indigenous-focused company, Peak Hill Local Aboriginal Land Council.

This resulted in a gardening maintenance contract awarded to them for our Northparkes site. This aligns with Evolution’s commitment to advancing outcomes for our First Nation partners through meaningful participation in the business, including supply and procurement.
