Last month, several team members from our Sydney office attended the 2025 Lifeline Harbour to Hawksbury Sapphire Gala Ball, at the International Convention Centre, Sydney.
We have proudly sponsored the Gala Ball since 2016. Our support reflects our commitment to health and wellbeing initiatives, as part of our community investment framework and demonstrates our focus on making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.
Alongside our Gold sponsorship, we contributed an additional $5,000 for the training and development of ten Lifeline crisis support and suicide prevention volunteers. The event raised more than $220,000.
Though an enjoyable evening, it was not without discussion of the serious topic of mental illness and suicide.
Master of Ceremonies Davina Smith (9 News) and guest speaker Layne Stretton (Lead facilitator at Roses in the Ocean) both spoke to their personal connections with suicide and the invaluable support Lifeline has provided in times of need.
As part of the Gala Ball fundraising committee and previous Lifeline volunteer, Tiffany Fillingham, shared our ongoing support is something she truly values.
“As Davina and Layne reminded us, the unfortunate reality is that suicide does not discriminate, and behind every statistic is a person, a family, and a community profoundly affected,” said Tiffany.

Lifeline is a national charity that provides access to 24-hour crisis support and suicide prevention services for Australians experiencing a personal crisis. It takes around 1,800 calls a day, 365 days a year, from people all over the country experiencing stress, anxiety, bullying, loneliness and depression.
Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury is an independent Lifeline Centre and is one of the largest operating in Australia. In addition to its 24-hour telephone crisis support, it provides a wide range of local crisis support services, including personal and financial counselling, emergency relief, problem gambling and counselling, and suicide crisis support and bereavement groups.
