Last week, team members from our Mungari Operations visited Perth’s Ronald McDonald House Charities Western Australia (RMHC WA) to demonstrate our support for a well-valued organisation that benefits families across regional WA, including the Goldfields.
The visit began with a tour of the family room, which was adopted by Mungari earlier this year as part of our support of the Goldfields Children’s Charity Ball, which raised $525,000 for RMHC WA and the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Ronald McDonald House provides comfort to regional families while their children receive care at the Perth Children’s Hospital.
The team then joined Head Chef Tommy in the commercial kitchen for the ‘Home for Dinner’ Program where they assisted to prepare meals for the children and families staying at the House, and distributed gift bags.

RMHC WA is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing vital support programs and accommodation for families with sick or injured children, striving to keep families together during trying times.
With around nine percent of stays last year from Goldfields families, the visit was a reminder of how local partnerships can make a lasting difference.
