In FY25, Evolution commenced a three-year $440,000 partnership with Todaybreak to implement the Safe with Milli Program. The aim is to provide innovative technology to strengthen support for people experiencing domestic and family violence across communities near our Red Lake Operations and Mungari Operations.
We are proud of the ongoing investment and work to equip frontline service providers with access to Cudo, a purpose-built case management platform, and support access to Milli, a free personal safety and wellbeing app for survivors. Underpinning both tools is Todaybreak’s Community of Practice model, which brings participating organisations together to build sector capability, strengthen collaboration, and develop more effective and coordinated responses to domestic and family violence.
A year into the partnership, we have celebrated the launch of the Kenora Regional Hub, located in Ontario, Canada. Led by Victim Services of Kenora & Area, it brings together frontline service providers and police with shared tools to coordinate an effective response to domestic and family violence. The launch event in May included a live demo of the program, a cross-sector panel including Treaty Three Police, Red Lake Area Emergency Shelter, Todaybreak and Sandra DeLaronde, Executive Director of Giganawenimaanaanig, as well as an operational working group session.
To date, two of three founding hub partners, Victim Services of Rainy River and Victim Services of Kenora & Area, are now live using Cudo, with Treaty Three Police Service onboarded and building ongoing capacity. Our local Red Lake Area Emergency Shelter is also progressing through onboarding and targeting go-live in September 2026, which builds upon our existing partnership with them. We are proud to see stakeholder networks continuing to develop between service providers, government and emergency response partners.
We look forward to reporting on the continued progress in Ontario and the Goldfields. This partnership builds on our commitment to family and domestic violence support, including the Hope Project which we supported in FY24.
