Our Mungari Operations is a major open pit and underground gold mining and processing hub located approximately 600km east of Perth and 20km west of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia with an ~1,200-strong workforce.
100% owned by Evolution Mining since 2016, Mungari has grown into a cornerstone asset with a current mine life extending to at least 2038. The operation includes multiple deposits across a large tenement in Western Australia's rich goldfields.
A key milestone for Mungari was the successful completion of its mill expansion project in FY25, which more than doubled processing capacity from 2 million to 4.2 million tonnes per annum. Delivered ahead of schedule and under budget, the expansion has positioned Mungari for long-term operational success. The new mill is expected to support an average annual production rate of 200,000 ounces.

Organic growth
Our Mugari Operations has the largest planned exploration investment across our portfolio, focused on identifying prospects with the potential to sustain high-grade underground production at or above current rates well into the future. This includes drilling around our existing operations at Kundana, Paradigm and the Rubicon-Hornet-Pegasus (RHP) area that forms part of the East Kundana Joint Venture (EKJV).
Drilling at Kundana continues to deliver high-grade results from Genesis and Solomon, while nearby exploration at Arctic has also returned promising grades – supporting further growth of the underground Mineral Resource. Additionally, there is significant discovery potential for high-grade mineralized zones close to the mill.
Our mantra of ‘never say never’ means we are boldly reimagining our future, with opportunities to work on the surface or underground at an exciting operation with a long mine life. Our Mungari team is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace to support your career highlight.

We contribute to events, projects, and initiatives that promote education, health and wellbeing, economic development, youth engagement, environmental stewardship, as well as the arts, culture and sport.
We recently partnered with Todaybreak’s Safe with Milli Program, which combines a personal safety app, Milli, with a secure case management platform for service providers. Together, these tools help to address the persistent and growing challenge of gender-based violence – sometimes also referred to as intimate partner violence or family and domestic violence.
We also recently announced a partnership with the Goldfields Basketball Association as the naming rights sponsor of the redeveloped Goldfields Basketball Stadium, as part of our commitment to shared value creation in the communities in which we operate.
